Todd Becker

Mr. Becker currently SVP of Technology Services at SignStorey, Inc. - a point-of-sales digital-signage advertising network serving the grocery industry (also a NY Angels portfolio company).
Prior to SignStorey, he was Managing Director of Next Generation Ventures, a Connecticut-based venture capital firm focused on seed-stage technology investments, including SignStorey.
Prior to NextGen, Mr. Becker was the founder and managing director of PomeGranate Ventures, a VC & consulting firm, and the co-founder and co-manager of Mercator Ventures Fund, an early-stage venture capital fund.
During this time, he helped launch or grow seven companies, led a start-up as CEO, managed business turn-arounds, and participated in three IPO events - two of which were later acquired, with one remaining public.
Prior to PomeGranate Ventures, Mr. Becker was a Principal with Pittiglio, Rabin, he & McGrath, a leading management consulting firm serving technology-driven companies.
Mr. Becker has also worked for Texas Instruments, General Electric, and Hewlett-Packard as a technical sales rep, design engineer, and process engineer, respectively.
Mr. Becker earned a Bachelors degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Masters degrees in electrical engineering and business from MIT's School of Engineering and Sloan School of Management.
