Gibbons is a former President & Chief Executive Officer of Siloam Biosciences, Inc. He also served as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of numares AG from 2020 to 2023.
Prior to that, he worked as the Director-Management Services at Merck & Co., Inc. Mr. Gibbons held the position of SVP-Strategic & Global Product Marketing at Alere San Diego, Inc. from 2005 to 2007.
From 2007 to 2013, he was the Senior Vice President-Business Development at Nanosphere, Inc. He also worked as a Manager at McKinsey & Co., Inc. and as a Senior Research Analyst at William Blair & Co. LLC from 2003 to 2006.
Mr. Gibbons served as the Vice President-Strategy & Business Development at Boehringer Mannheim Diagnostics Corp.
from 1994 to 1997.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and holds an MBA from The University of Chicago.
