Yi Ma

Yi Ma currently works at Cheetah Mobile, Inc., as Independent Director from 2018, The University of Hong Kong, as Professor, the University of California, Berkeley, as Professor, The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Inc., as Fellow from 2013, and Association for Computing Machinery, Inc., as Fellow from 2017.
Dr. Ma also formerly worked at Microsoft Research Asia, as Manager-Visual Computing Group from 2009 to 2014, Shanghaitech University, as Professor from 2014 to 2017, and the University of Illinois At Urbana–Champaign, as Associate Professor from 2000 to 2011.
Dr. Ma received his graduate degree in 1997 and doctorate degree in 2000 from the University of California, Berkeley and undergraduate degree in 1995 from Tsinghua University.
