Alejandra Folguera

Prior to joining Pacificor in September 2007, Dr. Folguera was in Partnervest Advisory Services, LLC where she was in charge of the statistical analysis of asset allocation models, monitoring performance, and a variety of client-services tasks.
Dr. Folguera has passed all three levels of the CFA exams.
She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Illinois and a Certificate of Accounting from UCSB. Her doctoral research was in the area of non-linear partial differential equations.
She has taught mathematics to students of all levels, from 7th grade through university graduate level.
She developed interactive worksheets to teach high school classes, and coached elementary students for the Math Superbowl.
She is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the American Society of Women Accountants.
