Prior to joining AIM, he was a corporate associate with AMVESCAP.
As a corporate associate, he spent more than two years rotating through the various business units of AMVESCAP around the world.
He has also worked for the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation in Beijing and as a diplomat at the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, Egypt.
Mr. Qian earned a bachelor's degree in international studies and English at the Foreign Affairs College in Beijing, China.
He also has an M.B.A.
in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Qian holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
