Prior to founding Mount Lucas Management, Dr. Vannerson founded Little Brook Corporation of New Jersey in 1980 and is a founder of CA Partners, Inc. in 1990.
Dr. Vannerson is a founder of Commodities Corporation, which was formed in 1969, and served that company as Senior Vice President and member of the Management Policy Committee from 1975 to 1980.
From 1984 to 1989, Dr. Vannerson was a member of Commodities Corporation’s Board of Directors and a consultant to the Management Policy Committee.
Before joining Commodities Corporation, Dr. Vannerson was a commodity economist with Nabisco Inc. and an economic consultant with Mathematica Inc.
Dr. Vannerson received a B.S.
in Economics from Wichita State University and holds a Ph.D.
in Economics from Princeton University where he was a member of the faculty in the Department of Economics from 1965 to 1966.
He currently serves on the Advisory Council to the Princeton University Department of Economics.
