John Sartorius

John Sartorius is a Partner of Clearstream, which he joined in 2017.
He is a member of Clearstream’s Investment Committee and is responsible for sourcing, diligence, execution, and management of the firm’s investment and capital raising efforts.
Prior to joining Clearstream, Mr. Sartorius was an Executive Director in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley in New York and Houston, with a focus on sourcing and executing corporate mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions primarily in the midstream energy and logistics sector.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Sartorius worked for Barclays in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group and was based in Houston.
In addition to covering the midstream energy sector for Barclays, Mr. Sartorius also covered companies in all parts of the energy value chain.
Mr. Sartorius received his B.A. from Trinity College (CT) and his M.B.A. from Rice University.
