Mr. Ricardo Cañete, CFA, is an Iberian Equities Fund Manager at Bestinver Gestión SA SGIIC.
He began his career at Aguilar de la Fuente, SVB as Intern in 1995, followed by a brief time at Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for the liquidation of the bank's operations.
He also joined the Departments of back-office , commercial and risk at Banco Popular, in 1997 and then became part of the Management team in March 2000 until he was appointed Head of the Department of Quantitative Management Research in 2004.
Mr. Cañete was employed at Mutuactivos, Grupo Mutua Madrileña as Manager of equities in September 2004 and was appointed Head of Equity Team in 2010.
Mr. Cañete holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Complutense (1996), and Masters in Financial Markets from ICADE (1997).
