Rob Sherman

Mr. Rob Sherman is Founding Partner & Head Trader at Plainfield Asset Management LLC.
Prior to co-founding Plainfield in February 2005, Mr. Sherman was a Director in the Deutsche Bank Distressed Sales and Trading Group from 2002 to 2005.
He was responsible for sales and trading in distressed bank debt, bonds and trade claims in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Sherman was one of the founding members of the RBC Capital Markets High Yield Group where his responsibilities were capital markets and high yield sales and trading.
From 1996 to 1999, he was a Director in the High Yield Group of Gleacher NatWest Inc. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Sherman was a member of the High Yield Group at Bankers Trust.
From 1985 to 1991, he was a member of the High Yield Group at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. Sherman received a B.S.
in engineering from Union College in 1980 and an M.B.A.
in finance from Columbia University in 1985.
