Stephen Nash

Mr. Stephen Nash joined SSgA in August 2000.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nash worked with the United Nations, where he was responsible for managing a large US dollar-based pension fund for locally-based United Nations staff in the Middle East.
As part of this role, he selected, directed, and evaluated a range of external investment managers in various locations, with regard to both global bonds and global equities.
Prior to joining the UN, Mr. Nash worked at AMP Investments, where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager in fixed income.
In addition, he worked at Deutsche Funds Management for five years as a fixed income portfolio manager.
His initial role was at the National Australia Bank in Melbourne, where he worked as a trader and broker in the fixed income group for three years.
Apart from being awarded a Ph.D by the University of Cambridge in 2002, Mr. Nash holds the following qualifications: B.Com, B.Econ (Hons.), and B.A.
from the University of Queensland, M.Ec (Hons.) from the University of Sydney, and he is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
