Steven B.
Rafferty, CPA Professional Practices Partner Administration, Springfield Steve serves as partner in charge (PIC) of the administration office, works closely with the other PICs and directors of BKD in their daily operations and coordinates the firm’s risk management program.
Before becoming the firm's first operations partner in July 2000, Steve was firmwide accounting and auditing (A&A) director.
From 1991 through 1996, he served as A&A director of the firm's St. Louis office after working in the administration office as associate director of A&A from 1987 to 1991.
He is an executive committee member of the Center for Public Company Audit Firms of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He currently chairs the firm’s client service task force.
Steve began his BKD career in the Kansas City office after graduating in 1979 from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, with a B.S.
degree in accounting.
