Reid is a Chief Engineer & Partner at NMRQL Research (Pty) Ltd.
He has over four years of experience working as a quantitative analyst.
In September 2015, he joined NMRQL Research.
Since joining NMRQL, he has developed a cutting edge online machine learning framework called recipes.
He started his career in 2013 as a Management Consultant at KPMG.
Whilst in this role, he worked on a number of audit and programme assurance projects in South African banks.
He was shortly promoted to a quantitative analyst in the Financial Risk Management practice at KPMG where he focussed on developing derivatives pricing models.
In 2014, he joined Old Mutual’s Balance Sheet Management team where he worked on developing pricing models and hedging strategies for embedded derivatives.
He holds an undegraduate and honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria.
