Pamela A. Simonton

Pamela A. Simonton, J.D., LL.M., is Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Exelixis, Inc..
Previously, she served as Senior Vice President, Patents and Licensing from January 2004 until December 2007 and also as Vice President of Corporate Technology Development from April 2000 through December 2003.
Prior to joining Exelixis, she held positions of increasing responsibility at Bayer Corporation from July 1988 to April 2000, including Vice President of Patents and Licensing for Bayer’s Pharmaceutical Division, North America from September 1994 to July 1996 and Vice President, Licensing and Acquisitions for Bayer Corporation’s Pharmaceutical Division from July 1996 to April 2000.
She is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia and Florida and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Simonton holds a B.S.
in Chemistry from Barry College, an M.S.
in Physics from the University of Miami, a J.D.
from Nova University and an LL.M.
in Patent and Trade Regulation from George Washington University.
