In 2010, he joined ING Investment Management Asia Pacific Ltd. in Hong Kong as Senior Fund Manager in their Global Quantitative asset management boutique to manage funds domiciled in US, Asia and Europe.
He was responsible for ING’s research initiatives and management of institutional and retail mutual funds totaling over USD12 billion.
His prior roles include working as a lead engineer at Motorola Inc. in the Mobile Devices division in Chicago developing project management capabilities.
Mr. Kota received his undergraduate degree from Osmania University, a graduate degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
