Mr. Doeberl is currently President of Cogent Asset Management, as well as Principal with CogentHedge.com.
He founded the predecessor to Cogent in 1992.
He also founded Cogent Alternative Strategies in March 1999 with Mr. Beigel.
Prior to that, he was for four years a Managing Director at Furman-Selz responsible for establishing private investment funds.
He acted as a conduit of information for private and institutional investors seeking access to established and start-up hedge funds.
And he was formerly for nine years an investment broker with PaineWebber Group and Oppenheimer & Company servicing institutional and individual clients.
