Shawn Yang

Mr. Shawn Yang is an Analyst at Arete Research Asia Ltd. He has experience in the internet industry and investment banking.
He joined the firm in 2023.
Before that, Mr. Yang covered China and Asian internet sector at Blue Lotus Research Institute for eight years.
Prior to that, he served as the Director of Strategy for China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group, and Product Coordinator of Riot Games.
He also has worked for HSBC Asset Management and Goldman Sachs.
He graduated from Tsinghua University with a bachelor's degree and received his master's degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
