Mr. Yann Risz is Co-Founder & Venture Partner at Siderian Ventures LLC since 2007.
Prior to co-founding Siderian, Mr. Risz was a Managing Director at Tendris US (San Francisco), a cleantech holding firm where he rapidly grew its portfolio companies.
He was a Vice President at Quios (San Francisco, London), a DFJ funded wireless data company where he led Business Development and co-founded eWingz (sold to German company BOA).
Before joining Quios, Mr. Risz was with McKinsey.
From 1991 to 1995 he worked for Volkswagen in Germany.
Mr. Risz received an MBA from Harvard Business School with a focus on Business and the Environment, and completed his undergraduate degree from the Ecole De Hautes Etudes Commerciales in France (Valedictorian).
Mr. Risz lives with his wife and two children in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys biking, windsurfing, history and current affairs.
